Terms & Conditions

Welcome to CineForge. By exploring our digital portals, requesting estimates or signing production contracts with CineForge (Pty) Ltd ("CineForge", "we", "us", "our"), you fully agree to comply with the terms defined herein.

1. Definitions and Project Boundaries

  • Services: Commercial cinematic production, multi-camera corporate interviews, lighting design, video post-production editing, Dolby Atmos mixing, color grading, and asset distribution.
  • Client: Any registered brand executive, marketing agency, or business booking service packages.
  • Results: Master media deliverables provided following completion of post-production steps and financial clearance.

2. Bookings, Retainers & Payments

All prices provided in estimates are in South African Rand (ZAR) and are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate of 15% (where applicable). Production steps require a non-refundable 50% retainer before location booking, set designing, or casting is initiated. The remaining 50% is due in full upon the completion & sign-off of final post-production steps, before master clean files are handed over.

3. Scheduling & Cancellation Regulations

In the event that a Client postpones or cancels a booked shoot day, cancellation fees apply depending on the notice period provided:

  • Within 48 hours of scheduled shoot: 50% of the daily shoot fee is due to cover crew, gear, and location losses.
  • Within 24 hours of scheduled shoot: 100% of the daily shoot fee is due.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

All raw camera files, temporary mock-up drafts, and unused footage remain the absolute legal property of CineForge (Pty) Ltd. Master production deliverables are transferred exclusively to the Client for professional usage only upon confirmation of complete payment. CineForge retains the right to use finished video clips in our corporate portfolios and reels.

5. Liability Limits

To the maximum extent supported by South African law, CineForge is not liable for indirect, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from project delays, weather disruptions, or mechanical equipment failures on set.

6. Applicable Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be submitted for resolution under the jurisdiction of courts in Johannesburg.
